There are 22 stationary medical networks in the region. Their annual fund consists of 987 000GEL (54900$), their annual loading consists of 2 210 900 GRL (1 228 277$). According to the annual statistic 12380 patients receive medical treatment at these stationary medical services. 1095 doctors (doctor of medicine-1, candidate of medical science-7) and 1554 nurses are employed at heath care facilities.
Besides diagnostic laboratories, rontgenology and functional diagnostic, X-ray rooms, anesthetic and intense therapeutic departments are functioning at the town and central hospitals.

The monthly limit for ambulatory service -03 is 1 113 429GEL. The annual limit for State Medical Insurance programs is 3 797 389 GEL by 2005. 687 staff personals: doctor of general practice -87, nurses -258, specialists for adults – 87 are participating in the program of ambulatory aid for population of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti region.
Doctor’s visit and treatment is free of charge. Nowadays, repairs at 12 health care facilities are financed by local and international budgets.
